If Eddie plays this one right this can be one of the best shows every in Scotland... I think Abril would be the best choice of opponent.. For the under card would be good to see John Simpson v Liam Walsh for British and Commonwealth title if Buckland vacates... Ronnie"The Shark"Clark v Ryan Walsh in a British Title eliminator seems both fighters want to set the record straight.. Stephen Simmons v Chris Keane in a British Title eliminator.. Kenny Anderson v Paul Smith.. Craig McEwan v Andy Lee rematch... John Thain v Kris Carslaw.. Scott Harrison v John Murray.. Jon Slowey v Davie Savage jnr and Gary Cornish v Ian Lewison. In my eyes that would be a huge show with some real 50/50 fights and will show the very best in talent that Scotland has to offer. Come on Eddie get this line up and this will sell out easily.

I think the problem is no one knows where he actually is. He needs a step up and really Lewison is probably the best step up fight.. They are just ideas and I have missed out some talented Scottish fighter. This show can make Matchroom huge up here in Scotland.

If only David if only. Most fights would be 50/50 to be fair. John Thain won't be on any of Ricky's undercard as he's with Warren. I think. Cornish is with Gilmour and hel want him headlining his own shows soon. Think he's boxing the winner of McDermott and Skelton. Your usual Burns undercard is just filled with Warren and Morrison boxers. Slowey, Simmons, Appleby, Simmy, Sammy Hill, Callum Johnston, David Brophy, Ryan Collins, Micheal Roberts. All these guys are either warren or Morrison fighters. So it'll be them that's on it if they are Morrison boxers

I'd like the main event to be Burns vs Harrison - I don't think Harrison is much of a test to Burns now and I don't think Hearn wants to give him a huge test in May - so best time for this fight.

I would like to see Gavin Rees on the card, obvious comparison's there will be made.

Kenny Anderson will be there somewhere I am sure.

Alex Arthur? If he still wants it, it would be nice to see him get some expsoure to see where he is at.

I think now is the time out main prospects step up and take some decent fights. Michael Roberts Jnr v kris badger Hughes , David Brophy v Gary McMillan , ronnie Clark v Ryan Walsh , John slowly v Sean bowman

David Brophy would be way too big for McMillan who is naturally a welterweight. Ad have Brophy in with Ryan Ashton. He's a match room fighter so shouldn't be too hard to make. Slowey v Leigh Wood is a good fight if they can make it happen. Roberts v ronnie Clark is better than badger Hughes. Billy Nelson said a while back that Roberts and Clark could box for British at the end of the year so this could be an eliminator for British.

Huh? You'd like to see Burns v Harrison? You are probably in a minority of 2 (the other one being Scott himself). That would be a terrible, terrible fight - worse even than Burns v Nicky Cook.

Why Leigh Wood ? hes not with Matchroom and has only been on froch undercards as hes a well supported Nottingham lad , i cant comment on if its a good fight as ive not seen Slowey

I said him be ause match room have used him before. I have saw him 3 times and he's good. That's why I said slowey v wood as the topic is dream undercard fights which I think this would be

Yeah i agree hes good , just didn understand the link between the 2 initially .

Ive just looked Slowey up , Both unbeaten as pros , both had good amateur careers , you could be right about it being a good fight , but just a case of its got any value to both fighters both in monetary terms and career progression , i dont think a loss would be a massive problem for either guy too so it would be a good one to make .

Both are at that stage where they need bigger fights so a eliminator for British on a world title undercard would be a good place to do it rather than a town hall in Nottingham. Hearn seems to know how to get guys to work for him so I reckon Eddiee could talk Woods manager into in. Would Wood take a wee crowd with him? Who is his manager

He has a large following but as far away as scotland i could only imagine him taking 1 coach load .

Roberts v Clark will not happen. Billy always said the fight could happen but he is no longer with Billy and from what I hear this fight will never happen. If Michael Walsh fought Michael Roberts we would have the 3 Walsh brothers against 3 Scottish lads.. If Simpson beat Liam and Ronnie beat Ryan what a fight that would be for the end of 2013.. The Farmy Army that the Walsh brothers have are sure to come up in force.. Sure the Scottish lads would sell a lot of tickets.. I know Ronnie would and this would make a great atmosphere for Sky and Matchroom.. Eddie seems to have his head screwed on surely he will see this opportunity

Ricky Burns will sell out any arena in Glasgow by himself and if Walsh-Clark was a British title eliminator then the BBBoC are truly fucked in the head, neither has done anything to prove their at title level, bar Walsh's fight against Richards, who had beat nobody himself.

I would assume that the undercard could be full with Gulmour fighters, I say this because Gilmour and Hearn have done loads of shows over the decades a.. But you never know and I prob will be wrong it's just I Remeber Appleby was a matchroom fighter when he was Gilmour

One fighter that seems to be overlooked is Limond,maybe a title defence for him could be on the cards, and he does well with the tickets.As for the Walsh brothers, good idea and the match ups do make sense- but we don't need them to sell tickets up here, looking at the last fight at the secc I would say the laddie's on the undercard sold well and the atmosphere was pretty turbo charged.... Don't need there fans up here .its more there fans I can't stand

Ha agreed there Gary I'm not the biggest fan and seen them first hand but it would make for a crazy atmosphere.. I know I've over looked a few they were just a bit harder to match Limond v McCallister is one that would be sure to raise the roof.. Ian Butcher not far from title level maybe a bit harder to match.. A lot of talent up here in Scotland and some good personalities they just need the platform to prove themselves

7 wins in 9 is keeping winning? Gary Sykes-Kevin Hooper on Friday should be a British title eliminator. Stephen Smith, Stephen Foster, Ben Jones, Liam Walsh and John Simpson could be involved in eliminators, Ronnie Clark and Ryan Walsh shouldn't. The fights should be put on, but the ticket sales they do will have no real effect when Burns can sell out by himself. The Mitchell fight had 9,000 there with a dismal undercard, after that and with the publicity generated from leaving Warren and being on Sky, Burns will be able to sell 10,000 by himself.

I doubt he will sell 10,000 himself and the undercard did sell a lot of tickets some big ticket sellers.. Ronnie has 2 draws where most think he should have got the nod against 2 good fighters in Maxi Hughes and Ryan Walsh.. As for the names I've put Liam Walsh against Simpson for the title if Buckland vacates.. Hooper hasn't done a great deal and Sykes coming off losses same as Foster Jnr.. Stephen Smith is at featherweight I believe and if Not Ryan Walsh I'm sure Ben Jones would be the ideal fight for Ronnie on this show.. Any of those names you mention I think would be good fights there for Ronnie.. The reason I said Ryan Walsh as the first fight was a cracker with Ronnie only having a few days notice.

Thought as much. Would be good to see him box Gary Mccallum for Scottish title.

Whatever the undercard ends up it could be good for Scottish boxers who get to box on it they will be boxing in a massive show and possibly maybe even on sky great chance for some prospects to showcase what the have to offer :) good times for Scottish boxing
