Whatever happened to Spud?

Always wondered what happened to the bald fella. I kind of miss him kicking off when you say things his favourite (at the time) promotional company didn't agree with
Nice one! I'm sure he would be offended if anyone said Ali could beat Haye, but that was half the funphil5555 wrote:He's doing whip jobs up North and works for David Haye
What was your name back in the day?si7dog7 wrote:The same bloke who had contacts within Meaty Mick's gang?
If so, I had some good banter with him about overmatching prospects, back in the day.
He was argumentative, but passionate. I liked him
Hope he is well, and less emotional.

Think he was passionate and opened his mouth before he engaged brain.
Whenever I met him he was so well mannered, yet would go insane behind a keyboard
No, that was me!!! Moved on well since then, but great to speak to a man I always considered a bit of a hero.si7dog7 wrote:t'was DOG (or DOG007) around 10 years agothepocketrocket wrote:What was your name back in the day?si7dog7 wrote:The same bloke who had contacts within Meaty Mick's gang?

I also said Bernard Dunne would become a world champ before he made his debut!!
Rucking is good. I do miss the old days of Lightsoot, Slick Like Herol, Gav, DG and others!!si7dog7 wrote:I can confirm this alsothepocketrocket wrote:

Good luck to himMachoMan09 wrote:He'll have almost certainly PM'd you by day's out, PR, unless he has already. He's landed on his feet working full-time for Haye and I'm happy for him.
Or Dennis Hobson beating him up in sparring!!!Wales wrote:very good.
Thought it was going to be the clip of him getting a punch in the chops in the background of the hatton interview for a minute.
Forgot about that one. Proper z-list boxing celebrity, fair played.thepocketrocket wrote:Or Dennis Hobson beating him up in sparring!!!Wales wrote:very good.

Working full time doing what though? I mean Haye isnt promoting and what have you anymore so what is there to do really?MachoMan09 wrote:He'll have almost certainly PM'd you by day's out, PR, unless he has already. He's landed on his feet working full-time for Haye and I'm happy for him.
I do, you pudendum.Quixall wrote:Who gives a !!!!!!!
I wish Spud was here now. He could say that anyone who thinks that Vitali stands a chance against Haye is a pudendum and he would ban themBen Carey wrote:I do, you pudendum.Quixall wrote:Who gives a !!!!!!!
It's a shame Spud lost his bottle and went straight. He was more fun when I was pulling his pi$$er and we were proactively creating hassle. We'd have been on Daybreak once a week.thepocketrocket wrote:I wish Spud was here now.
