Burns fighting anyone other than Abril,Broner or Vazquez leaves Eddie and Ricky open to criticism and I don't get the need for Eddie to build Burns up and ease Burns into his Matchroom début they should hit the ground running

Reminds me of Prescott, I'm sure Ricky will Mitchell him though.

I don't mind this at all for burns. He's had a massive cancellation last time out as well as one in December. Going for a massive one straight of the bat is a big ask and I suppose he has bills to pay. No excuses after it though.

He needs a fight quickly and neither of the champions are available doesnt seem too bad IMO.

Cheers,i don`t think it`s a good fight but if it gets the mandatory out the way then try to get the vazquez fight in septmber.His next fight atfter this will need to be very decent or Hearn and team Burns will get plenty of stick and rightly so.

Matchroom are talking of three fights for Burns before the year's out, if by the end of the year he hasn't fought Abril, Broner or Vasquez, then they will deserve as much criticism as Fisheyes, but let's give the three fight plan a chance first.

I prefer this to a fight against Rees.

I have to confess I hadn't heard of this guy...or anyone on his record apart from Joseph Laryea, who Gonzalez got rid of in 3 rounds, in contrast to the 7 it took Ricky.
This could be a tricky wee bout.... :??

Disagree unless he's fought 2 of those in his next 3 fights they should be heavily criticised. He's already supposed to be fighting Vazquez next. Burns needs to be fighting someone top drawer very very soon.
