I watched this fight on Primetime didn't I?!

So why have they shown the highlights with Smith and Watt waffling over top of it? Sounded dubbed on after in the style of Messrs Gubba and Stindstadt on old school Match of the Day round ups (ie "he can hit them from here you know.......oh I say what a goal etc etc).

Then cuts back to studio and Nelson asks Smith that he must have loved commentating on that etc.

Is this just sky trying to rewrite history as presumably they bought rights to footage of fight and will show it on loop in buildup to fight to drive the PPV sales?

Ringside virtually unwatchable these days for me.

i didnt like the way the studie was full of people they have only done that for leonard and tyson so i thought that was just for greats! kessler is good but hes not one of the all time greats!

Ringside used to be essential viewing for me. Since it became a Matchroom showcase it has deteriorated badly. Bunce's Boxing hour is now my preferred weekly news show.

The whole show is cringeworthy, there isn't a thing right with it.

Smiths shoulder rolling whilst talking to the camera is camp as tits!

I thought they did that from time to time when they had big names in? They did it with Eubank & Benn didn't they?

Ringside is cringeworthy TV. I agree it's got a lot worse since it became a Matchroom showcase.

Why do some episodes have a crowd of people who look like they've just been dragged off the street?

I interviewed him in 2007 and was such a sound bloke. He was a mechanic originally, doing an apprenticeship at the local Mercedes garage. A proper petrol head.

His brother lives in Salisbury and will be there at the fight cheering him on.

Both Froch and Kessler, absolutely love em. In fact i sort of prefer Kessler as a person. I want Carl to win the fight but wouldn't be unhappy if Kessler did. I want his tattoo as well although i have a feeling it wouldn't look the same on an out of shape 'fleshy' bloke like me.

I used to get shot down in flames last year when I dared criticism of Ringside. Seems like most folk feel the same way now. I wish it wasn't so. Fuckin Adam and Jonny. Their recent interview of Devon Alexander was pathetic.
