Why doesn't the BBC.......?

At the start of the BBC's Friday night coverage of the ABA's, they showed some snippets of past ABA Champions who went on to have sucsessfull Pro careers eg. Benn, Minter, Bruno etc.

This got me thinking that the BBC must have a HUGE amount of Pro and Amatuer boxing footage in their archives, so WHY don't they release them on vidoe/DVD? Fights in full would be too much to ask for, but compilations with long highlights would still be of great interest to most Boxing fans.

Is there any reason why they don't do this?

They just never have. It's institutionalised arrogance.
