i watched the fight last week and chi nicked it - then i saw that it was a draw on the boxrec records page! forgive my ignorance but why the difference?

Maybe something like Quartey/Lopez (announced as a Quartey win on the telecast but later changed because of a discovered scoring error).

i thoguht Chi just nicked it with the last 2 rounds. great fight, well worth a rewatch, especially for Brodie's bodypunching which was phenomenal at times :TU:

chi deserved it but it was very close. brodie fought very well under chi's onslaught but i thought he should have exploited the right over his left lead. time and again the korean dropped that left hand leaving a big target for michael who actually did catch him flush once and chi might have gone had he repeated it. ive gotta lot of time for michael brodie. he doesnt get much of a shout on here

If he'd have got the decision that he deserved over Willie Jorin his career, and his life, might have taken a different path.

well, he should have got the nod over jorrin, thats true. but michael was never a bad 'un. that stuff about the coke could have happened to anyone and he's never been in trouble apart from that as far as i know. i'm sure he made quite a tidy sum from boxing but clearly the jorrin fight would have been good
