got to the 1984 olympic finals, lost to henry tillman, put together a nice winning streak in the pros till bert cooper whacked him out, but he came back with another string of wins culminating in a big win over henry tillman via 10 rd decision......... then he disappeared?!

i expected to scroll up the screen and see the familiar tag line "date of death..." but nothing. why did he suddenly just vamoose?

the guy was smart. Realized he wasn't built for long term success. his family came from a bit of $$ in the gravel business i believe. willie got a law degree and is practicing in Edmonton.
His team mate Shawn O'Sullivan is not doing so great though.
