Probably true. Always going to be hard for him (or anybody) who has no promotional backing. Going to have to keep winning as 'an opponent'.

Realistically, let's say he fought Wilder and somehow won, where does it get him? Golden Boy aren't going to sign him up. Matchroom maybe. But more likely than not he'll just get lined up by another contender, or just avoided completely.

I thought he was promoted by Hearn? The Haye fight was Hearn's first promotional outing.

A victory in Prizefighter after the Price annihilation defeat can hardly be construed as a potent bargaining tool.....why would Harrison not want a fight like this? Since Seth Mitchell lost to Banks, Wilder is the latest U.S. heavyweight hope. If Audley managed to win, then that would be a potent bargaining tool.........

I think Wilder would bang him out in 2 rounds - even though he won "prizefighter" Audley still looks like he's scared of taking a punch and it's just a case of when Wilder lands an overhand right it's good night

Quite possible, but Wilder looks poor, if it's not Harrison that knocks him off then it'll be someone else soon, talent wise Harrison is much better but you just can't trust him to not freeze.

Harrison ALWAYS looks impressive against 2nd and 3rd string opposition, against guys who lack the skills to test him, he can cruise through something like prizefighter.

I've little doubt that as poor as Wilder might be, Audley will once again enter 'The squeaky bottom zone' when he realises he is in with someone with ambition and talent, and who can punch.

The end result - another humbling KO loss with Audley prostrate on the floor like a trainee priest, or receiving a warm motherly hug from another referee.

Audley is a B-grader at best - has everything except the mental toughness to compete at top level.

Not knocking the man, it's just how it is.

Wilder does look rather ummm....wild, but he is certainly quick, and his punches come from unexpected angles. Very mobile for a big man, and seems to be fighting at a good weight, rather than becoming musclebound. Needs to tighten that defence a bit, as his footwork isn't that controlled and he leaves that chin very high - but he definitely has some athletic gifts.

Have to wonder at how slowly he is being moved, either they know he doesn't carry a shot well, or they are waiting for the Klitchsko's to retire before making a push. I can see him beating a lot of guys out there.

Can easily see him nuking Audley - as he's pretty quick round the ring, and Audley is very stiff these days since getting his clock cleaned badly.

Exactly he looks good (although shaky when under pressure) when he is in there with guys that aren't notorious punchers however just like the Haye fight, Harrison knows from training that Wilder (although green) is fast, athletic and hits hard. Harrison would more than likely go into his shell before a meaningful punch is thrown. My money is on a Helenius/Audley fight in the summer, a far more winnable fight for Audley and I'm sure Sauerland would more then fancy the fight for Helenius as well.

Of his 6 losses, 4 were against 2nd and 3rd string opposition, one's string has yet to be seen but might yet be 2nd or 3rd, the other is Haye - who some (not me) would argue isn't world class either.

I am not this time going to believe in Harrison he lacks confidence against a half decent fighter. I would love to see the fight and hope he does well even though wilder is wild I can see Harrison being stopped already.

I have to disagree mate. I think Harrison is a technically superior fighter but Wilder whilst pretty crude, he is very quick for his size and he can certainly can punch and he's also taller than Audley. I think Audley will have a panic attack, freeze and then get knocked out.

The weirdness of Audley is that he will fight anybody and then look frit to death when in the ring with them. I back Wilder to intimidate Audley but the A force is a strange force so you never know.

if Harrison lands first he wins.

Wilder tends to fight excited, and even a scared Audley will punish that.

I do believe this will be the first fight for Wilder to "come of age" (or at least begin to) . His team should show him the Price/Thompson fight to show what happen when you dont fully focus when stepping up in class.

Wilder, it would seem, has a powerful punch, and he is not a fat heavyweight and he has height on his side too, so I certainly wouldn't be backing Audley here. Wilder however hasn't had his fitness tested so if I were advising Audley (and I am no expert boxing coach) it would be to try and take Wilder into the second half of the fight whilst forcing him to throw plenty of shots, try and make him miss and counterpunch. I don't think Wilder will go to a World title shot undefeated, I think the first time he faces a bit of adversity from someone who can take his shots and hit him back as well will possibly beat him. Not saying Audley's the guy to do this but who knows.

Yeah audleys said he agreed earlier today (5 weeks notice) although that might be old news by now. Its going to go two ways, he'll either stand there right in front of wilder waving his hand about looking like a journeyman until he gets sparked like he did against Price. Or he'll go out confident, relaxed and box like he did on prizefighter, completely outclass wilder with ease and make a big statement. If he had boxed like he had on prizefighter against Price he may well have won.
