Haye fighting in June and October? As a man who does not fight often, and certainly not twice in 3 or 4 months, it seems a little odd. I can only assume if this is true the October fight is against Vitali and the June fight is a 'warm-up'; presumably against Povetkin or Fury?
I really hope this is true.

I can't get excited about a Haye return, i know i'll watch him. But he doesn't float my boat for some reason.

I'm with Ian on this one. As one of the 1000's who shelled out a small fortune to see him in that non event in Hamburg I wouldn't be bothered if I ever saw him box again.

I'd like to see him put Povetkin out to seed but Pulev would be a cracker.

So then, who do we think he is fighting in June? My tip is Denis Boytsov.
If Haye is going down the mandatory route, I think the WBO is the best option. The other three are currently tied up with various eliminators/mandatory challengers above him. The WBO, on the other hand, has nothing scheduled, and the #1, Helenius, ain't going to be forcing a Klitschko fight any time soon. Plus, Klitschko hasn't fought a WBO mandatory in over 3 years (Chambers - March 2010), so I'm sure they'd want to enforce something in the not too distant future.
Boytsov has a high ranking (#3), a glossy record, and a weak promoter. These factors coupled together make it a logical first fight back for the Hayemaker.
Time will tell.......

Pretty bang on with that. Add to the fact boystov has marketibility to the average joe with an undefeated record and KO highlight reel.

Sound logic. I like the Tony Thompson angle though; he's a bit of a name given the Price win.
How about Kevin 'Safety Pin' Johnson?? Come on, it's the fight everyone wants to see

My money is on the Nordic Nightmare Robert Helenius.
He's a Sauerland fighter and Haye was on allegedly channel with Sauerland after the Prizefighter.
No 1 Contender and absolutely pants, so he'll fit in with Haye's criteria.

I think haye will be looking at names to get him the respect he wants id expect either arreola, pulev, povetkin, helenius, thompson, banks, adamek, huck, possibly boystov but he may avoid him because he was linked to fighting fury and pulled out.

Some people are saying Haye may be fighting Jovo Pudar on June 29th, and possibly Tyson Fury or a Sauerland heavyweight in the fall.
But no one seems to know for sure.

Helenius isnt pants, he's technically a very solid fighter with good power and good boxing skills. I agree he looked crap against Sprott but in his defense he hasnt had many meaningful fights since the chisora fight and he's had problems with hands by all accounts. He beat Price a few times in the amateurs aswell by all accounts *I know Price is somewhat discredited at the moment though*

Get him in with Audley Harrison for the Prize Fighter championship of the world!
Big Audley deservs his chance of redemption!

Haye's Facebook page has just been updated with a picture of him and Vitali......
Make of that what you will!

I saw that and thought that is deliberately set out to get people talking. If it was him I guess it would be sold on the "fight him and then his brother again" angle.

How many of these are realistic though?
Arreola - no chance, WBC #1, fighting Stiverne in final eliminator
Pulev - no chance, IBF #1, waiting to fight Fury/Cunningham winner
Povetkin - no fight scheduled but I just don't see it, his team seem to be pushing his mandatory shot vs Wlad hard (I know that's hard to believe with his previous pull-outs)
Helenius - can't see it, don't think Sauerland would throw him in unless he had home advantage, and Haye ain't going to Finland
Thompson - quite possible
Banks - no chance, tied up with Mitchell who is enforcing a rematch clause
Adamek - possible, but he sells big in Poland/New Jersey, does he want/need to come to the UK? He's already turned down a Pulev fight so I don't see him travelling to lose to Haye
Huck - no chance, he's a cruiserweight
