Bunce ended last night's show saying "see you at the weekend, hopefully" despite there being nothing on the schedule, so its fair to assume they're trying to get this show, or the Golovkin title defence from Monte Carlo (ideally, both!). They only announced the Bradley fight 24 hours before it happened so we may find out later this week....

I hope they show but why they not pick up these fights months in advance instead of leaving it til last minute!

Costs? Sky used to do a fair bit too.

If the show's promoter gets a tv rights bid for a market he hasn't sold the rights for, at around 48 hours notice, he either takes what is on offer or waves goodbye to that sum of money, because nobody else will come in at such short notice. better to get a modest amount of extra revenue than nothing.... low risk policy for the buyer, if it doesn't work one week, keep your powder dry and bid again the next week at a few days notice.

I can't help but feel the rematch is coming a bit too soon.

aye, I wonder. like the rematches of Adrian Hernandez - Poorpramook, or Tyson Marquez - Concepcion, i'm backing this one to finish relatively early.

True, true.
I really thought Alvarado would power through him in the late stages but it ended up being the other way round. He didn't exactly fight the most tactical fight. I would guess he would try and change that but I'm not entirely convinced he can beat Rios whichever way he tries to box/fight. I also don't think he has the power required to hurt Rios. That said, he's not exactly Willie Pep and at some point there's got to be an accumulation factor that'll slow Rios right down but I don't think it's just yet.

Alvarado will have to change tactics, he lost the battle of chins the first time. He'll try to box Rios but he'll struggle to keep him off and get stopped again IMO.
Hopefully allegedly save the day with a last minute swoop again.

allegedly are in negotiations for the fight. They are also trying to agree a long term ouput deal with Top Rank. We should hear something about both prior to Saturday.

I would of perferred the Golovkin fight for the actual card but the Rios fight is no doubt going to be a cracking fight if it is as half as good as the first fight.

Great news, this will be a good one - Golovkin will be a one sided turkey shoot, so BN can pick it up on special offer 2 for 1 by friday night.

This seems to be a good MO by allegedly. They are providing outstanding fights for the hardcore that they are obviously picking up for peanuts. I know we are not getting much British stuff, but the international content is worth the £10 a month alone. Got a cracking six weeks coming up.

Love the name Terence Crawford. Sounds like an estate agent, hope he doesn't fight like one.

From what I've seen of Crawford he's pretty fun to watch, think he scored a KO of the Year contender last year.

He's been on a fair few undercards (Top Rank do stream their undercards online for free!) and also been on ESPN
The KO I was on about was against Andres George (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTEME8qBB28)
RE-The username it was memorable and I thought it was amusing
P.s. For those who are interested in the Monaco card there is a young Belorussian called Kiril (or Kirill) Relihk who I like the look of. He should dispatch Paolo Gassani pretty quickly but I'd advise folk try to remember the name for the future.

The pair of maniacs delivered again in another brutal fight again and congrats to Alvarado he showed some real guts and managed to box some rounds into the bank. Mikes face was tenderised hamburger, Rios's mush always impresses me the way he never shows 'that' much damage even though he was really hurt at times. I'd look like the elephant man after a couple of rounds or maybe one
