First Gavin Rees pulled out injued, then Eric Odumasi, now Michael Gomez fights Ghanaian Ben Odamattey on Saturday for the vacant WBU super-featherweight title. Labelling this a 'world' title fight is a joke. Odamattey lost to Carl Greaves last year - a man Gomez destroyed.

Great. No competitive fights on the undercard then.

Pinto better be the real deal or else this whole build up of excitement could be for nothing!

Yeah, you're right Dan. Mike "No Joke" Stewart is made for Sharmba Mitchell, who must be sharing a joke or two at his choice of opponent, Barnes-McClarnon is a walkover really for Barnes, and Ben Odammatey won the Ghanaian featherweight title just a month ago, so why is he fighting the big super-featherweight Gomez!

I've checked my crystal ball for you J, so you can plan your visits to the bar accordingly.
Here's what happens( look away now if you do not wish to know the results ):

Barnes TKO 8 McClarnon - very one sided.

Gomez TKO 10 Odamattey - also painfully one sided.

Mitchell UD Stewart - Sharmba puts on a masterclass, putting an end to any hopes of a Hatton match this summer.

Hatton TKO 8 Pinto. Fireworks early as Pinto unloads and wobbles Hatton in the 2nd ( ref gives him a warning for showing disrespect )
Then the Hatton body attack kicks in, and Pinto finally hits the deck in round 8. He gets up shaking his head and walks back to his corner.

To be honest I'll have a right larf anyway staying up there and all that so bit of a boys beano once the fights are over also....(staying in a hotel thats got a club underneath it only my bro called find somink like that.).

I think Inkin V Ovill is the only peacock fight on the show now.

Erik Teymour is now fighting Hussain Osman at York hall tomorrow night, apparently Oganov had some contractual problems.... Poor Erik never gets a smooth lead up to a fight.
Only yesterday did he find out he was fighting Osman at 12stone.
first it was Oganov on 3/4 then it was Inkin on 3/4 then it was Nathan King on 1/4 then it was "somebody" on "Thursday or Satuday" then yesterday it was Osman at the super middle limit....


Silence was meant to fight the guy who beat Ossie Duran..... Silence is a lightweight... the other guy has been fighting at welter.... so i dont think that is happening.

Inkin V McKenzie is still a goer.... over 10 i favour Inkin. Ovill hasnt been that far before although he will be the bigger man in there the experience (amateur and pro ) of Inkin should show through.
Ovill is a mood fighter though so anything can happen :-) of course i will be rooting for him though
