Plymouth middleweight contender Scott Dann ticks over with an eight-rounder in Bristol on Friday against Ojay Abrahams. Special guest will be Audley Harrison.

Scott Dann is very popular. He must be right in line for a shot at the British title when Howard Eastman vacates.

Audley is a very smart cookie indeed, he's been doing a lot of pressing of flesh lately, he's on a real charm offensive.
If Audley does ever become a heavyweight champion, he will be a lot more popular than Lennox ever was, though I dare say there will be people who will hate his arrogance.

Yes. There's a queue forming (Bendall, Dann, Rhodes, Pinder and even Gary Lockett), but I think Bendall and Dann will be in line for the British (Bendall is the mandatory) and Rhodes and Pinder for the Commonwealth.
Now, if only life were that simple.

I thought Aud conducted himself very well in the run up to Hersisia. I didn't see the arrogance that was all too apparent a while ago. He was quite dismissive of his domestic rivals in interviews but I'd say it was more confidence than arrogance - and confidence based on evidence too.

Why does Dann deserve a chance ?
On the basis Eastman has already beaten him ( ans in my opinion with ease) why does he remain at the front of the queue ?

Are you basing this on an assumption that Eastman vacates? Or are we just talking eliminators here?
