i used to love harrison, but to be honest havent been to botherd by his comeback ,however this fight is actually a good fight for him i think ... ... i did think it was for his commonwealth title defence and i didnt think harrison could still make SFW ...but its actually Walshes WBO European title belt at LW that he is defending ...

Scott has looked every one of his years in his comeback, perhaps older. Prison sometimes preserves people but its the Alcohol that has taken its toll on Scott. You can tell he is a drinker just looking at him. I would not be suprised if his drinking was even worse than what has been reported.

Doesn't matter if he is past his prime.. Scott is heavy handed and Walsh was put down twice against Appleby.. I would say that Scott hits harder than Paul so you have to give him the punchers chance.. Also he has a granite chin can't see Walsh having the power to get him out so this is an interesting fight can Walsh stay away from Harrison for the 12 rounds. Head says he can and will win by Wide points decision but I want Scott to win and he will have a chance

That's fair enough Billy that's just me looking from the outside. I'm led to believe Scott hits hard but don't know anyone who has sparred both mate. Who do you think wins this one Billy?

I think Warren deserves credit for matching these 2, should be a great fight.

I like the matchmaking here but I feel Walsh will win handily. It was good seeing Harrison finally getting back in a ring but his last fight showed he no longer has it. Walsh will be too fast too fresh and end up stopping him I think.

The recent sightings of Harrison don't bode we'll for this fight coming off or him doing well if it does. Guy is off his nut.

I watched a good documentary about Scott on You Tube recently. It's definitely compelling viewing. I don't know much about Liam Walsh, and also wasn't it only Scott's 2nd comeback bout that wasn't so impressive?

well given that he has recently split with his manager, he has been arrested in the last year for amongst other things a domestic assault and alleged theft from Tescos at 2.30am - his second arrest in that same shop incredibly, no urination involved this time - he has a known drink problem and he is almost certainly about to embark on a four year sentence in a spanish jail then I think unfortunately the chances of that are very, very low sadly.

I wondered what happened to the Spanish jail thing. I presume there must be a fresh hearing on the horizon. To be fair he is a well conditioned fighter still. Walsh will know he's been in a fight at least.

He's appealed. It might be the end of the year before its finally resolved. His chances are probably low as it won't be a retrial - rather he will have to show some flaw in the original trial or evidence.

I was thinkin the winner fights burns but he s jumped ship or if Harrison win s will burns give him a shot up in Scotland either way Ricky will toy with the both of them

I wonder what names Scott could have faced if he'd stayed on the straight and narrow. Off the top of my head there would have been a good dust up with Alex Arthur for sure.

This fight, especially as it was announced with fight night only 3 weeks away reeks of FW giving up on the rehabilition of Scott the fighter and putting him in with Walsh to get a decent scalp on Liam's record. The easy marketable fight for Scott was with Burns up in Scotland and now that Ricky has left the camp, FW has no reason to try ease Harrison along without having that fight to build towards.

Have never been fully impressed with Walsh but if he keeps out of trouble in the early rounds Scott will tire down the stretch and Liam should pick up a wide points win.

I just hope Scott can make it 3 weeks without being incarcerated and i do mean that genuinely,he,s like that pete docherty,you dont see him in the tabloids for a while and stupidly assume they will appear totally rehabilitated then low and behold their up to the usual tricks as per
