Bellew v Ajisafe

This is pencilled in on the Froch/Kessler undercard, the boys have met before with Bellew taking a 12 round UD but not without a surprise as the bomber was on the seat of his pants in the 4th. The fight was a close one too, and certainly not one sided.

My point is this, Bellew, much as i love to watch the guy, hear the guy etc. his attitude is excellent and he brings genuine power (well, he used to at decent domestic level!). Bellew, in my opinion is in very poor form at the moment, he has not carried his KO power up to fringe world level and has been made to look relatively ordinary in his last 2 fights, he has never even looked like putting either opponent awat, he is far from ready for Chad Dawson.

I would not be surprised if Ajisafe, an intelligent man, has not learnt enough from their previous fight to beat bellew this time around. Thats why i dont think the fight will happen. We know Bellew loves his Lonsdale belt and all it stands for, this fight however is too high risk for too little reward for bellew to lose his right to fight for the world title again.

I expect bellew to give up his title and ajisafe be paired against someone else.

On the local news it said that a rematch had been agreed between Bellew and Chilemba on the Froch bill, but I haven't heard / read this anywhere else ?

after bellews last 3 fights i have not seen any progression and think bob will be a very bad fight for his both style wise and the fact it is a no win situation. Bellew needs an aggressive come forward fighter to bring the best out in him as another stinker will put back any world title ambitions
