I'm shocked and upset at this news, can't believe what i've just read so sorry for michaels family.Everytime a pro gets in the ring he puts his life on the line so glad i got out after receiving a letter from the board saying my MRI scan had picked up a change in my brain.Absolutley gutted i feel sick :(

Brings it home what can happen tragic.
You were right to heed the medical advise and get out while you still had ur health.
Micheals scans were all ok according to the board the bleed occured during the fight .
Fighters like John Murray who has overturned a doctors ruling on a scan need to really think is it really worth it?

There is more to life than boxing at the time it doesn't feel like but i've a little boy now and still have my facalties(forgive my spelling) about me so in hindsight yes its not worth it.
