(OT) The death of Maggie poll

I know this is off topic here but since she was a very political figure and im sure there are lots to say about the woman but who is happy and who is sad that Maggie is dead.
Let me just say a few things before you all have your say.
Maggie defended the Falklands so that has to be praised, however being from Doncaster the actions of closing the mines killed not just communities but killed lots of families and destroyed a large part of south Yorkshire. People had homes petrol bombed and cars destroyed. Speaking form personal experience my uncle was a miner at Yorkshire Main in Edlington close to Doncaster and that community was torn apart. Even now the 'smell' still lingers.
So is anyone happy or sad at todays news?

She wasn't a dictator or a murderer she was a Prime Minister and a bloody good one at that.

She caused all sorts of misery in the area I grew up. Obviously the middle class and privately educated won't have felt the wrath of her actions and won't agree. Nor will the immigrants who landed 5 minutes ago.
I remember my mum gave some of the neighbour's kids some selection boxes one Christmas during the miners strike, and in later years the lad told me that is all they ate on Xmas day.
Those who broke and went back to work, were outcast by their own brothers in our pit village. Kids fighting in the playground, houses that were unlit at night along our street because they didn't put money in their electric meter.
The whole "carbon footprint" was her argument for her to shut down these "dirty coal mines" and develop nuclear power stations instead. Now it's been adopted at yet another way to tax the eff out of us and the companies that we work for.
Then she created the current benefits system, in particular "incapacity" benefit, which led to millions of scroungers feigning bad backs and other ailments to get a free payout, a free car and reduced living costs.

We live in a democratic state thanks to our government, which includes free speech. So everyone is entitled to an opinion.

She could have been the greatest prime minister we'd ever had but the fact that she was a woman is something I hold against her, leave the running of countries to men and not some fornicating splitarse, good riddance.

Obviously ITV news do not share the fact that saying 'I hated her' or 'she won't ne missed' is in bad taste.
I know a young lad who was 12 at the time of the miners strike, was kicked senseless by thugs being watch by their fathers. There were sad times in Donny back in the early 80's

She closed the steel works in my home town which employed 7000 people, it has never recovered.
