You have to be living for 5 years and you can get one no problems at all, 2 years I believe if married to a UK citizen, well that is what I was told at Durham 3 months agoLondonirish wrote:Ratchet Exits Nu wrote:rocky2010 wrote:Hi im wondring can a guy whos wife holds a british passport fight for a british title as he is non british

cheers mate thankstelboy66 wrote:This is the official BBBOC ruling on a boxer being eligible to fight for the British title ,Must be a British citizen by birth or be a person born abroad who has since become a British citizen and has been permanently resident and domiciled in the territory for a continuous period of not less than 5 years immediately preceding the championship contest. birth certificate and/or passport must be produced to the board.
I know you probably realise this but if he's born in the Six Counties he's eligible for both passports.rocky2010 wrote:Irish kid planning on turning proexpe wrote:Who's the fighter?
Doesn't need to produce a passport if he is from the 6, just birth cert.@matt___s wrote:I know you probably realise this but if he's born in the Six Counties he's eligible for both passports.rocky2010 wrote:Irish kid planning on turning proexpe wrote:Who's the fighter?
