Can't see Dean Powell surviving this. He's gone from bad to worse in his short tenure as chief matchmaker to Sports Network. Michael Kizza and now this in less than a week.
Don't get me wrong, I like Dean. He's a straight guy. But trying to step into Ernie Fossey's shoes was always asking for trouble. Fossey was one of the greats.

Too true. Talk about stress.
I loved the quote in an American mag recently in which they did a feature on the leading American matchmakers.
One of the matchmakers (I can't remember who) said: "It's not about making matches any more, it's about keeping them in!"
Hatton-Pinto is a case in point.
