This is a small documentary one of my Boxers Tim "Da Dogg" Sobers had done about his training and his fight on my show ive just done (6th April)

Hes a nice enough lad but in boxing terms (as youll see from the clip) hes only a novice and was 0-3 heading into the fight .

Im not saying this is an epic award winning video etc but it gives some of you an idea of although some of you frown upon the unlicensed circuit , it means everything to a lot of the guys who do it , Tim is 34 and may never go on to achieve much in boxing (he does something else as his priority , Muay Thai i think ) but to him this was his world title fight , its given him a sense of achievement .

Hes a nice enough lad but in boxing terms (as youll see from the clip) hes not great and was 0-3 heading into the fight , personally i think he was a touch lucky to get the decision here but ill let you guys be the judge of that .

Im not saying this is an epic award winning video etc but it gives some of you an idea of although some of you frown upon the unlicensed circuit , it means everything to a lot of the guys who do it , Tim is 34 and obviously never going to achieve much in the unlicensed circuit let alone anything beyond that , but to him this was his world title fight , its given him a sense of achievement .

Tim looked a bit bigger than his opponent. May I ask what the weigh-in procedures are in unlicensed fights ? Tim could do with shortening his shots but I am not here to question or criticise him, he is at the end of the day a fighter.

Tim weighed 11stone 8 , His opponent weighed 11 stone 11 .

Weigh in is done on the day , maximum weight is agreed long in advance , this was set at 12 stone but tim weighed in lighter than we expected , and he was fully clothed too

I dont generally put videos of my boxers videos onto youtube , for several reasons , but when one of my lads boxed away on a show thats within our organisational group ,they uploaded it, so i can post that video , just to give a more general idea to people like the guy above being interested in getting in on the action , theyre not all like tim , the lad in this video (red shorts ) is more typical of our standard , of course theres some better and some not so good but as long as they are fairly matched everyone is happy

although i do think im descent with regards to matching appropriately , I did match a boxrec poster in the past , he drew that fight and has since boxed 3 more times on my shows :TU:

If anyone has any views on this boxer theyd like to point out then great , hes got a good head om his shoulders so hes happy to take constructive criticism , hes not boxed amateur but has an unlicensed record of 10 wins and 4 losses , hes 22 now so still got time to improve , hes Lightweight
