Does anyone know whether he still trains fighters anymore?

Like him or loath him, I found him a great bloke (to watch on TV) and highly entertaining. I hope he is back training fighters again soon. I used to really enjoy his interviews and he IMO is one of the characters in British boxing that we need.

I have always enjoyed chatting to Enzo, very insightful, funny, opinionated......but....could i understand a word he says?...could i Feck!!

why, if the welsh accent makes their pronounciation of english difficult, do some of them continue to speak so fast!! .....

Enzo's problem is that his first language is Italian, so he speaks English with an Italian/Welsh accent and it's impossible to understand.

thank you, i did not realize he was italian. how do you know that?

He has a mix of accents. Like you say, nigh on impossible to understand.

I'm Welsh and I can't understand him either!

The thing that always astonished me about Enzo is that with basically zero experience he took it upon himself to train his very talented son. Can't imagine if my son turned out to have that sort of talent that I'd have the arrogance to think that I should train him! Wouldnt your instinct be to take him to someone with experience a good rep?

He started helping out when Joe started at 8 or 9, so I suppose it was a natural progression for him to train him as a pro as well.

i may be wrong, but i think he did initially. it was joe who decided he was more comfortably with the way enzo trained him.

To be honest I thought he talked a lot of shit and got successful on the back of his sons natural ability! I wasnt sold on him as a trainer.

i agree he always seemed more a motivater/conditioner than coach. but to be fair he did well with other fighters not just joe.

Liked his assessment of how Rees should tackle Broner. Seemed to have a different plan to the one Gary Lockett used. I think he has the ability to assess fighters and establish tactics, and clearly has motivational and conditioning knowledge.
