I didn't see hardly any of him in the Olympics I gotta say, however, has pretty much said as much himself. Golden Boy seem to like him.

He seems more interested in being a celebrity than a professional boxer.
Even with very careful marketing and match making I suspect this guy will still find his banana skin.

not much love for Anthony Ogogo in this thread is there....i'll give my assessment after next week as I'll be watching in person.

To be honest, from what I've seen of Ogogo he's not going to be "the next big thing" as some as GoldenBoy are making him out to be.
I suspect that he will get off to a winning start, clock up around 8-10 tidy wins, then things will start getting interesting.

its slightly worrying that he doesn't have a trainer yet, i know they won't put him in deep for the first few fights, but shouldn't he have a trainer by now?

I second this! He fits the Golden Boy mould, good looking chap, charismatic, will talk a fight up. I for one doubt he will ever be a world champ though
