I Have a 1934 copy of Boxing which has several phographs within. The page size is to large for me to scan so i will be having it copied down to a4 in the near future. it also contains details of recent fights which i shall post, i an sure this will be of interest and add to the information on the database. i have had a great deal of help via this site with regard to my dad Fred/Jack Snell and I am delighted to see all this has been added to the database.

The cover page ( August 1 193) has photos of the england team for the Empire Games at Wembley.

I, Jim Glen along with my co-writer Ian Macfarlane, have just written a book about the "feared" Scottish middleweight Champion, Bert Gilroy who was SHUT-OUT of "two" British titles.

This book deals "solely" with fighters from the 30's and 40's, including 60 pictures, watch for it, it comes available in a couple of months - "GILROY was here!"

This book gives you good insight into alot of great British fighters and it's "promo" copies were very well received, 2 more months and its out!
