Thoughts?

I know he had an impressive amateur career and it is Sky's opinion, but it's still incredible that Rigondeaux has climbed to such a lofty position after 12 fights. Has anyone else in the modern game done that in recent years?

How have they got Donaire 4 places above him?

These things are always difficult to judge. Yes, it is pretty obvious who numbers one and two should be on their skills alone, but pretty much thereafter its tricky - how do you compare Klitschko (who has had maybe two worthy challengers in seven years) with Carl Froch (who was outclassed by Ward but has been otherwise exceptional) and Tim Bradley (whose big win was a judging shambles) with Yuriorkis Gamboa (who has amazing skills but has been denied a defining fight?)

At least they've dropped Broner.

At least they had the courtesy of explaining Donaire's lofty ranking after being pretty much white-washed. It would seem they bought the weight making as his excuse.

A ranking should depend on when the bell rings and then the bell or the referee ends it. You shouldn't cling onto the spot "just because" of this or that.

With regards Floyd Mayweather, I know it's hard to argue his ability but he just takes the piss out of paying fans with one bum after another lately and if GBP didn't own The Ring anymore, I'd guess they would have downgraded him too. But they can't.

Since beating Hatton he fought lightweight Marquez at a catch-weight he had no intention of making, then a pensioner in Mosley, Victor "Let's Dance" Ortiz and now Robert Guerrero.

The only credible name was a shopworn, but still lively Cotto - whom was a small light-middleweight and his marauding style was tailor made for Floyd.

Basically the list of live challengers, on Floyd's record is embarrassing in recent years. They've either been old or small - or both !

Andre Ward defeated Kessler, Abraham, Bika, Green, Froch, Chad Dawson in the same period of time.

Any list with Floyd over Ward is a joke. If he completely schools Guerrero or stops him i wouldnt complain but right now a #1 spot is nothing short of reward for inactivity.

I don't agree with having Sergio & Wlad over JMM, Wlads inclusion at all is always a debate point, it's hard to rank him in a p4p list. Those will agrue he shouldn't even be considered, and for those who argue he can be, well they might also have a case to simply stick him #1 then, because he is untouchable like nobody else in the sport is untouchable.

Bradley over Pacquiao is a joke, Pacquiao is far superior fighter, not only proven when they met but in achievement in the ring. Alvarez shoudl be higher than Bradley aswell.

Having Pacquiao at 8 is a joke. He clearly beat Bradley and was on the way to beating Marquez before getting caught by him. No shame in that, because Marquez is absolute class. I thought Pacquiao was doing better than in any of the previous 3 fights though. How can he go from arguably number 1 to number 8 after that? F**k off!

In saying that p4p is a load of s**t anyway. Its not based on reality. Floyd is better than Wlad, because he has better skills. Well Wlad is 6'6 and 240lbs, he's not going to have the same skills is he? Who's to say that if Floyd had to carry the extra weight or Wlad was at 147lbs they wouldn't be equally skilled?

His team turned down the chance to fight Roman Gonzalez.

He could have been a top P4P contender if he took and won that fight, but he and his team turned it down, so he is out of the running in my opinion.
