How long will Joe Lloyd last? About as long as Leapai wants him to I'm guessing.

Two first rounders down. Wonder how many rounds the fans will get tonight? No too many I am guessing.

Three 1st rounders. It's up to Fletcher to get some rounds in because Leapai will probably tee of and finish early.

how is the main fight falling over his fault gooseneck?

1st fight was acceptable, for a 1st fight. good ko.

2nd fight was admittedly a mis-match.

3rd fight looked a good even match. Horn CAN fight...very much like a young troy waters. good power and composure. very impressed..WOW! Im a fan.

4th fight on paper looked fine. regional title...no worries. boring fight, not the promotors fault. fletcher too good.

thornberry must be gutted. a fox fight slot, the main fight opponent doesnt clear the medic. what a nightmare. spare a thought you blokes.

i wanna see more of Jeff Horn. hope he fights on all Leapais FOX cards.

surely some sort of medical could have been organised sooner than the day of the fight??
unless the guy came down with something on the day, then IMO, its unacceptable to not have a bit more organisation.
i hope the fans that paid to watch alex got their money back

And he should feel gutted. Bloody disgraceful nights entertainment is a fair and reasonable comment for what took place last night.

Iv dealt with Napari before and hes had medical problems! Thing is its easy to fall into the trap of bringing these African guys down, promises of cheap opponents with Build up records I mean lets be honest was Napari EVER going to compete with Alex? Hes a Cruiserweight whos fed on even worse countryman in Ghana. When I say its easy to fall into the trap if you have any involvement in boxing you'll know what i mean when i say EVERY African "Matchmaker" or "Manager" or "Promoter" in existence will try add you then start trying to persuade you to bring in African fighters for your upcomming shows. Some even claiming to pay there fighters expenses, flights, accomodation etc through "Sponsors"

Napari was to have fought Mark de Mori a few years ago I was assisting in matching the fight through these Africans, Napari pulled out last minute when I insisted hed be given a FULL medical on arrival to Australia. They pulled the pin on him, So Ibrahim Marshall stepped up fly to aussie and failed the bloods. So Mark never fought.

Heard another horror story so have washed my hands of them. Having said that there are some very good African Boxers who no doubt deserve an opportunity but Im no longer prepared to take the risk.

I have to agree tha twas disgraceful, even if the main event went ahead with Napri, I still dont believe it would have been a TV worthy card,

Hooper's fight was a joke, no wonder our 'prospects' get dusted when they finally fight decent fighters, he could not have learned a thing from that fight last night.

It wasn't done the day of the fight. Promoter asked for a serology test before contracts were signed and a clean result was submitted (don't ask me how they got that...), Napari was then tested when he got here and the result did not come back til 3.30 yesterday afternoon

Eventually the main event got underway and lasted for all the wait, the grand total of 78 seconds, with Alex winning over the flown in replacement: Joe Lloyd.

A total imbroglio on the night, on which Fox pulled the plug after 75 minutes, which included three one-round walk-overs.

Mumtaz shouldn't be allowed to fight in OZ again. He's become an absolute joke and there's a big chance of him getting badly injured.
Fletcher doesn't have the pop to trouble the big hitters like Saunders.
Horn looked well balanced with good power and a solid defence. Should develop into a crowd pleaser.
Overall as a promotion this was a shocker.

so as i kind of said, something happened on the day. still sux though.
it was said by someone else that these guys out of africa can be a bit on the dodgy side, might be best to leave them alone then maybe.

glad i didnt pay to go see it, cos i was thinking about it
