So what are Harrisons chances?

I've never seen the guy but apparently he's taller and obviously possesses more than a modicum of aggression to get the job done.
Frankly with Harrisons past no-shows, and I'm not banding these words about - he literally did F_ck all against David Haye and very little in many other fights I've seen him in, it's a joke that the board are letting him fight, let alone against somebody with 27 KOs..........and I've got a ticket to the show! But...that said I hope he just puts up a decent showing but I feel I may be watching not very much happening in this fight for long periods.

This guy is undefeated. Is Audley here for the pay cheque? I find the fight interesting but is it another fight that Audley will simply collapse then con the public with another go? I know Audley has no chance to win a world title but is this just another Audley con trick?

Like all of audleys fights, it all depends on which version of him turns up. the rabbit in the headlights version, or the game version. wilder's opponents up to know have been pretty bad so it's his biggest test yet.

I hope Audley win's just to quieten down a few americans

Harrison should just go after him and try to spark him. Harrison has nothing to lose. He'll be in the same position if he loses as he is now.

He can still fight McDermott, Skelton, Towers etc. and if he wins he can get a British or even a European title fight.

All the "last chance" talk is utter rubbish. Harrison could lose a few more fights and still get opportunities. He should relax and enjoy himself as losing isn't a big deal.

If audley turns up wilder is in trouble, if he doesnt he's getting banged out early after looking like a jibbering mess and throwing no punches. My minds telling me no, but my body, my body is telling me YES he can!!!

One big shot and that's all it'll take for Aud to be finished. I like the bloke but he's way out if his depth with anyone who can remotely bang.

Virtually impossible to call for two reasons; 1) Wilder has faced absolutely nobody of any merit yet; and 2) who knows which Audley Harrison will turn up.

Although if Wilder lands that big right I fancy it's lights out for Audley.

Agree there, can't see Audley taking that right hand.

I've never seen this Wilder guy but I would be shocked given his ko record if Audley didn't freeze.

Audley only turns up against 4th rate fighters.

The idea of just going after someone and sparking them is probably as strange to audley as the idea of picking up a cue and knocking in a century.

Audley came out aggressive in Williams II and Sprott I to my memory.

Anyway, I first thought he'd get destroyed quickly but Wilder is wild and has crude skills so maybe if Audley covers up he might last a few rounds.

as i see it regardless of what the usual guys say...on paper this is a huge step up for Team Wilder.

but does it tick any of the boxes?

age? Audley is 41

activity? Audley should be in good shape...as always

recent record? Wins in prizefighter and over drug cheat statue Ali Adams. however his most recent step ups have ended in huge ko losses against Haye and Price (where not a single punch was thrown).

weight and height? Audley is a fully fledge heavy and 6ft5.



as for the result?

50/50 because of the inponderables.

We just dont know anything about Wilder yet....INCLUDING WHETHER HE CAN PUNCH

Audley's recent career has been built on a slow and tentative one punch stategy. he cant throw combos at all !

its possible that Team Wilder's reluctance to test themselves for fully 27 (!!!) fights may be their undoing against a shrewd southpaw chess player.

or Audley will get caught and ko'd early... in which case the Wilder bandwagon rolls on with a fairly large scalp.

personally id like to see fights with homegrown unbeaten prospects like Aaron Green, Jon Wes Nofire, daniel martz

credit to Team Wilder for taking a 50/50 fight...abroad.

If he wins, IF he win, don't be suprised if he gets a world title shot

i reckon getting proper battered by price may have forced him to face his fears...i've never seen him look so confident and up for it as he did in prizefighter...

think he's got a very good chance against wilder...

That's exactly why I don't want to call it. I don't like Harrison but would like to see him win. I want to get behind him because he's British, I want to back him and sound my voice by saying 'yes he can' but come the night I just know he will kick sand in my face and make me look a tool

I've seen a couple of Wilder fights, and he is pretty poor at present. Disorganised, wild, too tall for himself if you know what I mean. It looks as though he hits hard enough to put Audley's lights out, but also that the best Audley would have a shot at him. I've given up predicting Audley fights.

I'll be surprised if Audley lasts the first round.

I'd put a small one on Harrison to win, and a larger one on Wilder to win by KO in 1st or 2nd

Wilder in the 1st round. Almost identical in fashion to the Price fight. He gets hurt by the first big shot and then Wilder unloads on him until the ref stops it.

I hate to say this, but I think Audley might end up in hospital after this one. I think he's gonna get badly hurt.

My prediction is that Audley will look scared for most of the fight, clinch and hold his way through a few rounds, then get in one lucky shot which knocks the opponent down and out. It'll be hard to tell who is more surprised of the two boxers.

After the fight, he'll talk about redemption, say he is ready for any heavyweight out there and calls out David Price.
