Good win for Haskins, too bad it wasn't televised.

Packed at the arena according to my housemate which is good to hear.
Really hope Haskins can get a deal with someone, he's shown in 2 fights back to back that he isn't always in boring fights and he is at European level in his division so he should be able to generate some interest if he can string some fights together with some regularity.

Pleased Haskins won this - didn't he have a deal with sky at one point? I could see him on a few hearn undercards

That's exactly it, Haskins either in a European title fight or like a WBA Intercontinental title which he won a while back on an undercard against another World ranked fighter would be a decent enough support or possibly even a headliner in Bristol.

I think chris sanigar is one of the most under-rated trainers out there to be honest - not exactly a hotbed of boxing in the West Country but he's had some real successes over the years

I completely agree.
He brought professional boxing back to Bristol, has consistently produced fighters that over achieve and has a real knack for taking the right fights at the right time.
He doesnt get anywhere near enough credit for what he has done.

Well done Haskins, I guess he is paying the price for stinking the place out a few times on Friday Fight Night. I don't really blame TV for not wanting to show him off those times, but seems he's improved and not so boring/downright frustrating recently.

Ok then 'Mr 6 posts' give us your considered take on the fight?
Listen, Martin's a good fighter, Haskins just happens to be a devilishly awkward fighter who happens to be good at the same time.
Ward will come again.

Haskins has got the style to make solid, tidy fighters look like clueless novices. He has that awkward, Ingle-like style that is just set up to be puzzling and just, well, awkward!!
