I want Harrison vs McDermott.

The trouble is its like before, he won't want to retire on the back of such a terrible performance so we'll have him back in an easy fight or an easier prizefighter then when he wins he'll think he's back on the road to his destination.

I don't think he has any opportunities in the UK now, his stock would be too low. Could see him getting served up to a few of the Australian and European fighters though.

Harrison is a big name, he'll keep getting as many opportunities in Britain as he wants.

Do you think? I would have thought no promoter will want to risk their guy with Harrison in case he won, which would be disastrous for any heavyweight now, even after the Prizefighter wins.

if there are any promoters out there with a heavyweight they are too scared to match against harrison , i would suggest they pack it in now.

You do have to wonder if Goodwin (I know he post here so I don't mean this as a dig at all) will ring Audley to see if he wants to face Lewison as there may be some unfinished business there.

I think if Audley is willing to fight for peanuts every 2 months or so against journeyman over in America or Germany then there will be work for him. I don't think he is willing to do that tho and considering the money he must have earned during his career we would all do the same thing.

He's finally got himself into decent shape so unfortunately we will see him again I'm sure.

I hope Audley retires now, but I cant see it. There will be another promoter that will offer him an opportunity to use his name to sell a few tickets and if he stays in the game much longer he will end up a novelty act that will be laughed at, not too dissimilar to the ending in the movie 'Requiem for a heavyweight' when boxer (played by Anthony Quinn) got mocked as the novelty act 'wrestler'.

It wouldn't be a disaster for McDermott, Skelton, Towers, Dallas, Rogan, Sprott etc. to lose to Harrison; it would just be a setback.

McDermott is likely next in line for the British title if Price vacates, it would be more than a set back if he lost to Audley. No one would put the money in for most of the other guys you mention surely.

McDermott vs Towers is likely for the British title I would have thought.
Skelton is old and fucked, and him vs Audley wouldn't generate much interest
Dallas I thought had signed a decent long term deal with Goodwin and needs to rebuild.
Rogan, who would put that together as Rogan represents himself I think
Sprott, more interested in European paydays, not really a bankable fight against Audley is it?

Can't see how Audley fights any of them.

i think he should stick around and fight Big John. maybe even skelton. they'd potentially be fun fights.

Ive no problem with him fighting domestically, providing hes not talking about winning a world title.

I reckon he could beat towers for that Euro trinket hes got.

I really can't see McDermott (or Maloney) wanting to risk not getting that British title by fighting Audley. Would Audley take a major pay cut to be an opponent at domestic level anyway, doubt it.

Whether it be employing Fraudley on a show or punters watching the saying fools and their money are soon parted comes to mind The man keeps coming back and dressing it up in a different package and keeps collecting cash off mugs surely people are going to wisen up in the end ??

What's McDermott going to do with the British title if he feels he has to avoid Harrison?

Will McDermott get paid much more to fight Chisora for the British belt? Is McDermott even at the front of the queue to fight for the British title if it is vacated?

McDermott vs Harrison could be a final eliminator and beating Harrison would help to build hype for his British title shot.

I think Audley will retire. Until I gave him the Ali Adams fight he had no options and I would not be prepared to offer that purse again. Therefore on the basis he cannot command the purses he will require and I dont think anyone will do what I did for the Adams-Harrison fight I expect him to retire.
