Can you record Primetime on Tivo?

Im gonna be ordering the Jamie McDonnell/Julio Ceja IBF Bantamweight title fight but i would prefer to watch Ricky Burns defend his WBO Lightweight title against Jose Gonzalez,does anyone know if you can record a PPV event

Virgin don't let you record PPVs on their own box, not sure about Tivo but i doubt it.

You can't record Primetime on TiVo. I tried to record the Hatton fight but it wouldn't let me.
