Can't see a thread specifically for this on here so thought I'd start one.

First thing, if this is a WBC eliminator, I thought the WBC made a commitment to not sanction any championship fights for any boxer involved in the press conference brawl or the West Ham show in the future, in fact I thought Haye was expelled by the WBC for taking part. Got to love these morally and ethically corrupt sanctioning bodies.

I'm no expert on body language but I thought when they went face to face at the press conference Haye was slightly intimidated by Charr, Haye looked fidgety whilst Charr didn't move or blink, also for a few seconds after when Booth broke them up I thought Haye looked a bit uncomfortable.

This should and probably will be an easy nights work for Haye, but I'm starting to think if Charr has a decent chin he might come into the fight after five rounds and put serious pressure on Haye. Very similar to what Chisora did or at least tried to do and I guess at this point there isn't a single result to suggest Charr is better than Chisora, so a big 'if' for Charr getting through the first couple of rounds.

If Haye wins, I could see him fighting Stiverne for the WBC, don't see Vitali sticking around.

A Charr win could be a very significant step towards peace in Syria imo, or at least a step towards some sort of unity between the people of Syria, but can he pull off the upset?

Vitali has already said he will fight Stiverne.

I thought it was supposed to be a WBC elimination tournament with either haye or charr fight stiverne and the winner fighting vitali?

I think Charr is better than the Klitschko fight suggested. He looked to me like he was deliberately trying to orchestrate a quiet start to the fight and do something later on. In flashes Manuel looked like a legitimate top 10 heavyweight before his eye sliced open.

Haye should win on paper but I've always liked this as a match up.

At least charr actually tried to fight, however i think haye will lead him into something fairly early on and ko him, haye likes people coming forward. Similar ko to the chisora one i think.

I always tend to agree with your opinions but do you really believe Charr beating Haye would bring about peace in Syria?! It would be nice if it did but Charr isnt a significant name for one I dont believe and secondly I dont a boxing match being won by a syrian would be enough to bring about peace in Syria! That shit is far too complicated and its not like Charr has the clout of a Muhammed Ali or someone like that.
