According to Twitter. With Smith-Dodson 2 and Paul Butler as support. Why on earth would you put these lot on in London. I reckon Gavin could do serious numbers for this fight in Birmingham. Does he not want to ask Buglioni and Mitchell Smith's fans to travel?

An interesting fight indeed for both Gain and Vassell.
Power vs skill.

Makes no sense to have Paul Smith v Tony Dodson in London if Frank put Liam and Stephen Smith, Paul Butler,Matty Fagan, Joe and John Murray(if he gets his licence back), Joe Selkirk on the undercard along with Enzo Mac v Mckenzie and Gavin v Vassel at the Echo it would sell more in Liverpool than in London

Does seem strange, he may have a contract with Webley to do a certian number of events per year

I have a feeling Frankie has got a sturdy chin. I think he will shine.

jesus, why indeed.
maybe in Brum you've got the problem with venues, NEC too big, everywhere else too small. that's all I can think of. or Frankie's in FW bad books for some reason. or they don't want it in Brum because of the guaranteed crowd trouble? eff knows. i know, (1) i would go to it if it was in Brum, Manchester or Liverpool, and (2) i won't go to it in London.

Interesting to see the numbers at Wembley. Maybe Olympia considered too small and Echo not available??? Maybe get Buncey to answer this one on Boxing Hour. Maybe it wont happen in June either!!

I still believe in Frankie Gavin and think he's a special talent. I hope my faith pays off! Haha

Chisora Vs Wilder makes it a bit more of a sell if that's true

I agree I think his elusive style may be too much for Vassell. Against Heffron it looked like a man against a boy for Vassell so I hope Gavin can deal with the physicality he is going to face.

I think vassell wins or Gavin just pips through on a split or majority. Vassell seriously underrated but inactivity has killed him.
Gavin needs to start delivering soon.....so much talk of potential but he's been a pro 5 years. Degale and price have got themselves to fringe world level alreafy , bjs has taken longer but had his injuries. Frank is in big danger of being a "could have been, but never was" if he doesn't sort himself out sharpish. One half decent performance against a shell of junior Witter doesn't cut the ice currently.

Ok, don't see the need for the rant really, he is fighting Denton Vassell next month in the fight everyone wanted! Can't we just wait until after that before judging him? His personal problems have been well documented. As for the fight, I think Frankie will put a real clinic on and have everyone raving about him again come June 16th.

I like Gavin and with the right dedication, he could do very well.
Vassell is a good test though. He exposed Heffron and he beat Sturdy, who will soon be fighting Mayweather when he beats Aleksander.
Gavin is s slick boxer with a bit of meat in his shots. If he can handle the physical side and keep it a range he should win this one handily. Just hope he doesn`t grow a tache for the fight.

Hardly a rant!
Think we agree - read my post again. I am saying this is the fightvhe has to start delivering.
Where we differ is I think he will struggle to do so convincingly.

Would love to go and see this live but due to recent history, i will not be parting with my money. Especially with the Chisora/Wilder situation as it is
