I'm confident it goes the distance. I'd take Narvaez. Good fight in South America.

Good match and a fight that could have easily happened in the mid-2000s if both hadn't held belts (barring unification matches that weren't happening). Parra impressed me when he went into PR and beat Morel pretty handily. Parra was a road warrior, as was Narvaez early in his career, and Parra consistently defended against decent opposition. Common opponent was Asloum in France, and both looked really impressive and dominated the Frenchman. Had they fought at the time, 2005-2006, I could have gone SD, MD, either way. Probably give the edge to Parra, although Narvaez was probably at his best at the time. I remember watching him during this period and being really impressed with his skills, his ability to frustrate his opponents and land without getting hit. But I also dug Parra a lot during that era

Parra and Narvaez fought in a very deep era with Pongsaklek and Vic as the other top dogs. Too bad none of them ever fought each other.

Many excellent fights there. Highly recommended. Same for straws, light flies, super flies and bantams if you don't watch those guys much either.
