yes good to see Cornish out again he needs to win this comfortably to be taken seriously at British level.

But the thing is, look at the other threads about him all people do is slate the laddie for his opponents even though its common knowledge he didnt have a rather in depth amatuer background...so will proberly take more time ...

I think Gary Cornish will be exposed in this one,Paul Butlin will too experienced for him regardless of how many fights he,s been without a win,hope im wrong though

With respect, wouldn't he have been better off staying amateur or going unlicensed for a while, it served Purdy and a few others well, Mickey Steads etc.

Maybe mate, i dont speak for him or his team but he has turned pro... hes been active and been learning ... i could understand some of the criticisim if he was in the press giving it the big i am .. but hes not hes kept his head down and got on with it ...

thee's been a few done similar and ended up doing really well if they keep fit and are game, lots of lads with a spotty record have some really good scalps, hope he keeps grafting and enjoys it.

Cornish has gone down the import route for sometime, so this is an ok fight.
butlin has new management and seems prepared to put in some good work atm.

from the footage ive seen i dont think Cornish carries any punch power. i think this fight might extend him
