Apart from the fact that if he wins he gets sweet revenge for one of his 2 career defeats, is Froch on a little bit of a lose-lose?

Everyone in the biz seems to be picking him to win with very little hesitation, and a lot of the fans seem to lean towards him too. Everyone is pointing to Kessler having slipped and not looking as good as he once was, so if everyone is expecting Froch to win, will it really mean that much if he does?

And, even worse, if he loses again to this more shop-worn version of Kessler, how bad will that look on his record and legacy?

The pressure is certainly on for Froch. Maybe a stoppage win is the only big winning ticket for him?

No, Sky will give him as much credit for this as they would for beating Ward. On here, maybe.

I don't think Kessler is a shop worn as people think, I think he can win tomorrow night. I think if Froch wins it'll be a good win, arguably his best career win too.

For me Kessler is far from over the hill. Maybe tomorrow will tell different but anyone writing him off as finished could be in for a rude awakening. Slightly edge towards Froch but this is genuinely 50/50.

tough fight i was having a bet on kessler but then i see nathan cleverly talking about sparring with kessler on allegedly and cleverly gave the impression that he handle kessler ,
i wonder what will happen if froch comes out like he did vs bute but doesn't get kessler out of there it could turn into real war

If he win's he could get Andre Ward or Hopkins and have his biggest payday. If he loses he will be known as a guy that ducked nobody and went out on his sheild. Win-win for me

I like the positive outlook

I think people are getting WAY carried away over Froch's form. The Bute win flattered him, and Kessler in all likelihood is smack bang back in form. Often rematches go the way of the first fight statistically. Froch is there to be hit. Kessler by UD again. I also think Froch is going to get hurt by the body shots.

I think Kessler is being underestimated massively in this one. I'm putting money on Kess via stoppage and hedging my bets with a Froch/Chilemba points double.

I think Kessler should be the favourite

He'll be getting paid a small fortune either way, so I reckon it's closer to a win-win situation (I'm reckon Carl's not seeing it like that though)

I love even though Sky have mentioned that some people think Kessler is now over the hill, they have made very very little reference to Kessler vs Ward and Kessler vs Calzaghe.

Exactly, far too many unproven words about how Kessler hasn't been in great form. Froch's two defeats have both occurred since Kessler last had a defeat, and Kessler has knocked out all three opponents since he beat Froch.

Ok, Allan Green put him over... but he got up and took him out. That's surely the only blip on the radar? I think people are imagining that he's slowing down more than he actually has in reality.

Far to many people wrote Kessler off before the first bout.... im surprised so many are making the same mistake again.
