I don't want to see it, but I think Kessler retires now.
Froch should fight Groves/Hopkins or Ward.

Kessler knew last night was his last fight, imo.
His eye looks a little skewed/dead even before the fight.
Retire and enjoy your £££ from last night.

Agreed. Nothing wrong retiring with a 49 fight ledger on which the only defeats are to prime Calzaghe, prime Ward and prime Froch.
A credit to the sport in the way he fought and the grace shown in both victory and defeat.

Kessler has a heart and chin of steel. But that could be his health downfall. Another war with a hard man like froch could cause serious damage

Kessler shouldn't fight anymore. He looked a broken man at the end of the fight and he should just retire.
He really is a credit to the sport, he has conducted himself so well both times he's been over here.

Hopefully Mikkel hangs them up but stays in the sport, there's a great bunch of Scandinavian fighters coming through thanks to him so maybe he could try and have a hand in bringing them through or do TV work.

I'd like to see him have last fight in a stadium in Denmark against a B level opponent so he can go on a victory so it lessens the chance of a potential comeback

I was amazed some people at the weigh-in were booing him. Jesus H Christ.
Fair enough......want Carl Froch to win, but who in f*ck's name (excuse my language Boxreccers) booes a MAN like Mikkel Kessler???
me no understand........
So different from the atmosphere with Eubank-Benn for example......I know it's everybody to their own and it's a fight but the way Froch and Kessler have conducted themselves only serves to show both of these men in a shining light.
I didn't really like the look of the second fight.....I haven't watched it yet but like Ratchets I certainly wouldn't want them to go at it again. They would be essentially pummelling themselves to attrition, neither man able to outclass, outpunch or out-suffer the other. That's a recipe for danger.
Good luck to both men in the future

Don't worry about it, your Welsh so don't have to deal with it like we do in English. Zinadine fvcking Zidane or Pele could miscontrol the ball and have 'who r ya' shouted at them

I'm not being funny but what do you want them to do sit there in silence? In my opinion they feel they are giving an edge to their fighter - by singing/booing the opponent into the ring. As long as due respect is shown by fans after the final bell I think that is fair enough. I expect I will be in the minority on here though!

I totally agree that its great to build an atmosphere and get behind your fighter to give them the lift and advantage they need. Just maybe they should think about what they're saying before saying it, sounded a bit silly.
I imagine these were more the footy type fans rather than the die hard boxing fans, by the way.

Almost got through the night without hearing the crappiest staple boxing tune ever... 'There's oooonly oooone Carl Froch....' .

The chant I hate the most is; "Who ate all the pies?"
Firstly, because it's usually chanted by people who are more overweight than the person they are cheering it at.
Secondly, because it implies the only way to become overweight is to eat pies.
