It is about time Cleverly fought a good opponent again.

Didn't Braehmer look really good last time out? Not sure of the standard and not sure about the details why he didn't box Nathan before; I had read he was a real handful and was confident but a bit of a nut case. Hope it happens soon though Cleverly will improve and time is on his side.

I personally thought Braehmer looked excellent in his last fight. Good speed and power, nice moves. Will be a tough fight for Cleverly if it happens. FW will try and swerve it, or Braehmer will pull out with diarrhoea again - (the best/worst reason for a pull out ever!)

I watched the Braehmer Gutneckt fight which was a quality scrap. Braehmer is much better than any opponent Cleverly has fought so hence why it would be a good match up for Clev. I'd be dissapointed if this doesn't happen unless Clev fights that Shumenov but I'm sure only fights once every blue moon or so.

Real chance Braehmer will knock Clev out I think

Warren publically said he hopes its not needed to happen.

He looked competent but the guy he was fighting Averlant wasnt upto much to be honest. Cleverly is far better than that guy. Averlant I mean obviously.

the trouble its warren ... i would like to see Cleverly go with hearne hes much more active with the fighters.. but this is probably old news to the most of you lol

It was the fight before vs Gutknecht that he looked really good. Showed skills I didn't know he had. I would have him fav against Clev if that Braehmer turned up.

How fw can get the blame if this doesn't happen is a mystery to me. He signed the fight once and was let down very late on. If he doesn't want it to happen, who can blame him? He's probably worried Braehmer won't show again.

Doesn't Braehmer have a legitimate claim over the WBO strap?

He never lost it in the ring before FW bought it for Nathan

most of warrens top fighters have left his stable and joined hearn's due to inactivity they faced.. i just feel hearn has bigger pulling power now to get the big fights... if cleverly swopped we would see him fighting a lot more than he has done ...

Why put Cleverly, a so called 'World Champion' in with the absolute dross he has been fighting? He never won his belt, he was given it and yet we are constantly told by W'@rren and Nathan that he has 'to learn'. The guy's he has fought recently have been pathetic (Tony B, apart) and he is still at the same level as he was 3-4 yrs ago. He has not improved at all. Not at all.

W@rren will wait until he thinks Braehmer is there for the taking. I did not see Braehmer's last fight but if he looked good, then W@rren WILL avoid that fight. W@rren does so much more damage than good, for his fighters because all he cares about is money. That's a fair point but don't moan and whinge when people fail to take you and your fighters seriously (which most, nowadays, thankfully do).

Forgive me. I should really be doubting what I have witnessed over the years. Cleverly's record since May 2011 has been absolute dross. Piss poor doesn't even cover it. And this guys is supposed to be a Champ??? A Champ who never even won his title. He was given it. And yet some are just happy to believe.

Are you thick? It was not talk, it was agreed signed and sealed. Braehmer pulled out fight week. If Kessler had pulled out on Wednesday would you have doubted Froch wanted to go ahead with the bout? This is one fight nobody can blame on Nathan or Fw for not happening.

Sceptical, especially when it comes to W@rren and with good reason What I had stated in my 1st post was the possibility that Braehmer may have had genuine reasons to pull out. Cleverly's list of fights since, has shown a clear lack of confidence on behalf of W@rren. That is what it is and thus, it brings us back to the point about Braehmer and if the fight would happen now. Mind you when a bloke tells you he looking to make fights with Cloud, Hopkins, Tarver, Dawson etc and then makes matches for his fighter against the likes of Karpency, last gasp 5 hr notice job Kuziemski, Hawk and Krasniqi, you can't help but laugh and brush off whatever they may insist is the truth.

Don't get mad about it mate, I have followed Wa@rren for years and was once (a longtime ago) a believer. I just call it the way I see it and with W@rren, its usually all bullshit anyways
