Frank has signed a deal with the copper box. Something to do with the queen elizabeth olympic park or something. Anyway the gist of it is that FW will be putting on shows there every two months or something. It holds 7k so its a decent venue apparantly. Also the money made via the boxing also helps out with some other sports apparantly which Frank seemed happy about.

It will be a good Boxing venue but he has a long way back to where he was in terms of the leading promoter in the uk.The Frampton signing is all smoke and mirrors really as Mcguguin will be his main promoter.Hopefully they will announce a decent opponent for Cleverly this week.If another couple of good fight are added this I will go to this.

It`s in the Olympic Park,nearer the Leyton area then Stratford station it did a few Paraolympic events not to sure if it hosted any sports at the actual Olympics

It hosted handball and got great reviews regarding atmosphere etc. He has singed an exclusive deal with them. Last time he did that was with The MEN, and that was mainly to piss Hatton off. Boxing wasn't staged there for a few years...

Well the press conference looked pretty full and it will get good publicity and support as its part of the 2012 'Legacy'. He has always wanted somewhere in between the York Hall and Wembley Arena capacity wise and it looks like he has found it. A lot will ride on his London ticket sellers doing well, noticed Buglioni on the top table at the conference and its certainly not through his ring achievements yet.

Has anything been heard of Ryder or his team on this fight? I've seen nothing on twitter from the fighter or Hearn. Is the fight signed or is this another Burns/Vasquez, Chisora/wilder?

Fair enough. It's a top fight and with a decent undercard and proper promotion, it should sell a few tickets. Is 7k for a British title fight ambitious though?

I expect they can set it up for smaller crowds, like they do Wembley. If they did 4k for this I think they will have done really well. Borderline 3k wouldn't surprise me too much, but the lack of familiarity with the venue could work for or against it. Either people will go out of their way because they're curious or they'll not bother because they'd have to go of their way. The Copper Box isn't on the map yet and I remember how difficult it was to draw crowds to London Arena in the early days. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. Once it's established it'll be a great venue though.

He did it a few months back, claiming to be on the cusp of a monumental commercial tie-in between his channel and another organisation. It sounded dramatic, and turned out to be a tie in with an online betting company, which as far as I can see hasn't even transpired yet anyway............

That was great! The most underwhelming signing in Boxrec history after we had all been speculating.
