Assume we're talking about the best Darroll Wilson (circa 1996) against the present day Alexander Povetkin. Have things really gotten this bad? I was watching Wilson/Tshabalala and I was thinking to myself that Darroll Wilson might be a top 5 heavyweight in the current climate. Povetkin's a guy who has been totally uninspiring in the ring more often than not the last few years, with only the Chambers win really standing out as a quality performance. The fight with Huck was...not the best showing IMO. However, Darroll did have a suspect chin, didn't have particularly great stamina, and had lots of defensive liabilities. The more I think about it, the more I think Povetkin takes this over 6-7, but I think Wilson could have scared him.
