Wladimir Klitschko weighed 17st 5lbs for his Saturday showdown with Lamon Brewster. That looks a decent weight for a big guy.
The American scaled 16st 2lbs. Again, that's a good weight.

I don't know what Wladimir's usual wieght is, but it sounds heavy - however, he looks in fantastic shape. A little too good maybe, how many ribs can you see with the other heavyweights.

I have heard one or two negative comments about Wlad in training (poor sparring), for me this is the fight that has the biggest chance of an upset out of the four heavyweight title fights (even a greater chance than Fres vs Ruiz).

sanders has a better chance of beating big brother... Wlad looks in great shape for 17st 5

sky are NOT advertising this fight for sunday morning, where have you seen it advertised or what makes you think its on???

No way, Sanders struck lucky - he's a 38 year old Golfer who looks an old man in recent press conferences. Sanders has poor stamina, a leaky defence and a poor chin. He has fast hands, good power and a wailing style - but I'm near certain Vitali's chin will hold firm for the opening 3 rounds and Sanders will be out of the in about 6 rounds.

Sanders is already discussing retirement - saying if I lose I retire, if I win I fight Wladimir again and then retire. This is not a good thing to be thinking.

I might fly in the face of the majority but think that Vitali is the better of the two brothers. Maybe not as skillful, but all round more solid.

Still fancy them both to win though!

Wlad looked so gunshy last time out, if Brewster was half decent I'd like him for the upset.
The big man might find it hard to get over that 2 round shocker.
Brewster might have a great chance if he goes for it early, not sure he has the ambition though....

Agreed, I suppose technically Wlad is better but he's not the fighter of the two - Vitali is a lot less predictable and robotic with his punch selection, even if he's not a varied.

I'm frankly not convinced about Wladimir, I'm dissapointed at his lack of thinking and variation when up against a durable survivor (Botha, Mercer, McCline, Barrett). I'm sure Vitali would have tried something different.

He and Steward deserve the benefit of the doubt for now I think.
Some weaknesses in Wlad's game have been exposed but the same was doubtless said about Lewis when McCall got him. compare pre and post McCall Lewis, Steward (being as he is very good with tall fighters) did wonders, let's see what he does with Wlad.

How do HeavyWeights keep so much fat they are in the most Psychically demanding sport and they have layers of fat sometimes it is totally weird to me to see these guys with so much excess weight.
