How much did it cost for travel, tickets and hotel?

To fight or to watch!!
I went to see Klit v Chagrev after Haye pulled out, cheap enough, had a cheap flight from Ryan air Hotel was cheap enough with booking.com, the ticket was about 35 euros, prob didn't spend more than 300 quid beer inc, also met up with Force Fraser who is a good lad

I also went to Chagaev v Klitschko and Haye v Klitschko. Germany is very cheap (flights and a good hotel for around £300 for 3 nights) and the locals are very welcoming. The boxing fans are a lot more reserved but the Germans know how to organise a big arena event. Maybe a bit too much music for my liking though.

Indeed. A very random meeting in Dortmund. I have no idea why I was walking around in Dortmund

Froch vs Abraham in Helsinki. Actual flights + ticket and accomodation were cheap as chips, paid about £220 for all that lot which included 3 nights in a decent hotel. Beer on the other hand in Helsinki, well that was more like £5 a pint until we discovered the local places for £3 outside of the centre, that's when the fun began.

Argentina, first time I got in for free and the second time I got in for free also.

Cue Boris Wilson to make a wisecrack 'Yeh, you went to Argentina to see some boxing,

Did I imagine sitting with you in the pouring rain at Haye vs. Wlad? Having to walk in the torrential rain the couple of miles to the tube as there weren't enough buses or taxis (well ones that would pick up Brits) then being stuck in an underpass for around an hour, listening to those twats shouting Germany 1 England 0 till those little lads pointed out Wlads nationality and all because the tube.

The great organisation of that weekend stopped when I got poncey and I to Hamburg and didn't start again until we left!

Went calzaghe Hopkins in Vegas and haye v wlad in hamburg, both great, both different, booked up very late for haye so the flight prices were through the roof, the football stadium venues never work for me, Vegas was great but very tiring ! The weigh-in was impossible to get into at a small shopping mall in hamburg, but the germans are very welcoming.

Hardly unique, but hatton mayweather.

Tickets cost the earth, as did flights. I dont want to divulge what we spent gambling. At least the booze was largely free or very cheap!

But was worth every penny/cent!!

Hamed/McCullough, went as part of two weeks holiday and my mate sorted tickets/motel out.
Haye/Chagaev but actually sacked it off and went to Brussels instead.

Did Mayorga vs Trinidad at MSG and was an awesome experience. Was there as part of a longer break though so can't really comment on hotel prices etc. Ticket prices were good and it's a great venue.

That was an exception!

Chagaev Vs Matt Skelton in Dusseldof - prob. around 50 of his fans there in total.

Cheap as chips on Ryan Air - and fight tickets were dirt cheap fro very good seats.

Sham the Bedford Bear could not do the bizzo

Been to Las Vegas for Pacman vs Mosely and Mayweather vs Cotto.

Tickets were about $600 for the Pacman and $800 for the Mayweather fight. Face value of the tickets were $300 but the seats were still good and the boxers looked normal sized not tiny!!

The first time we traveled the hotels and accommodation cost £800, that was with 2 flight connections and staying at the Circus Circus Hotel. Wouldn't advise this!!The flights really were torture to recover from as you were travelling for 20+ hours. The hotel was ok but a bit too far from the real buzz of the fight.

The second time the travelling was only with 1 connection and the travelling was nearer 14 hours, stayed at the MGM Grand!! That cost £1100 and to me the extra £300 was worth it!! Staying at the MGM was brilliant, we met Roger Mayweather, Marco Antonio Barrera, James Kirkland and Arthur Abraham. The buzz around the hotel was amazing the whole time we were there.

Anyone on here going the Mayweather Canelo fight? Would be interested to know how much you can do that trip on...

Your right, the cheapest seats I've seen advertised are $780. That is from a re sale sight but I doubt very much you will get any once they are on sale to the public!!

Been over to vegas and got a cracking deal for the first one. £800 for good ticket, flights and 4 night stay (Hatton/castillo). Was already booked for malignaggi and paid about $350 for the ticket.

Also went to Paris for haye mormeck and that cost about £150 in total for flights, ticket and overnight. Would go back there for a fight, great fans

Now you mention it, yes. I'd forgotten i saw Andrew Wallace (who was talked about on here not long ago) at the Sheriff Youth Centre in Dublin for his 2nd pro fight.
