I'm sorry but if McCline is half the fighter the American's hyped him up as (which I'm afraid he isn't) then I would be shocked if Wayne lasts the opening round.

I haven't seen Wayne in ages and I admire what he's been doing in Germany and maybe deserves to be in contention with the likes of Long and Skelton over here - however, he's always been chinny and I can't imagine that area improving with age.

McCline's chin is solid and he's a fairly big punch (as big as anything Wayne has faced). I'd be pleased for Wayne if he's sees beyond the third.

Ill be rooting for Wayne as I always support the Englishman, but McCline is a level above him. Should Wayne somehow land a big punch that is hard enough to KO McCline it will put Wayne in the frame for a few big pay-days.

Absolutely, I'll be cheering on Wayne and I hope he proves me wrong. Its a fantastic opportunity - should he strike lucky he's not just THE major player in the domestic game, but also could land a world title fight.

McCline vs Toney was supposed to be an IBF eliminator - with Toney still out, there is nothing stopping Wayne getting that shot if he cause probably the shock of 2004.

Agreed mate, even if Wayne loses but puts up a good display it may be good for his career, even if its only by returning to the UK and mixung it with Skelton, Harrison, Sprott, Williams, Hide etc etc.

Very true, Keith Long maintained a high UK ranking (mandatory status) and has had some good opportunities for running Danny Williams close, similarly to Julius Francis (he lost in good European company). If Llewellyn does well, even in defeat, it should open some big doors domestically - and why not, he's been doing well in Germany.

I just can't see it happening though.

I to have a horrible feeling that Wayne will struggle to get past 3 rounds. Hope I'm wrong though.
