Just got back from Rugby, where they had a pro show tonight. Former WBU cruiserweight king Rob Norton banged out Greg Scott-Briggs in the first and as poor Scott-Briggs fell to the canvas he banged his shoulder on the corner turnbuckle and tore his rotator cuff.
His shoulder needed strapping up in the ring.

Any more details of the show, Bennie?

Good victory for Rob, but its not what he needed - he needs the rounds and then he could be up there with the best of this devision.

Any futher updates on Kelly Oliver? With him back and Buster Keatan (hope things are going well with him Keiron) this devision really is like the Super Middleweights of the mid 90's.

No details I'm afraid. I only went there to see the class in action, South Africa's Harry Ramakgoadi and Norton, then pissed off for the free buffet and booze at the nearby Gas Street Club.
Ramagoadi banged out Nigel Senior in a round (shades of Dean Phillips) and Norton oozed class against Scott-Briggs, but as you say, needs the rounds and was bitterly unhappy at the fight ending so soon. He was more upset than Scott-Briggs, whose shoulder was in a right mess.
