This would've been big in the Southwest. How does it go?

The Uvalde Shotgun. Saw him numerous times at the Olympic back in the 70s. Had a war with the dangerous Thurman Durden that I still recall vividly.
Also a draw with one of my favorites Armando Muniz.
Have a feeling he might be a bit undersized against Canelo. Alvarez is on his way to being a middleweight and Albarado could fight at 147 lbs with no problem. He appeared out of shape when he fought over 154.
I met him once at the Main Street Gym and he told me he was reluctant to fight a tough jr. middle like Wajima in Japan but the big money coming from Fuji TV made his mind up for him. All 3 of his title fights were in Japan for that reason.
He could bang but so can Canelo. The Shotgun gets worn down and stopped in 8.
