Basically that his ship might have sailed with regards the IBF shot, perhaps Devon now has other options - but that he is highly ranked with other organisations and might aim for one of those instead.

Columbo - I don't think you can fake a fractured foot. Perhaps they are playing the Devon fight a bit cool, because they are trying to rearrange it right now.

I didnt say he faked the injury he had but why cant he still fight Alexander? He's now talking about other routes. That makes you suspicious and makes you think he never fancied it in the first place.

I hope you're right about playing it cool about the Alexander fight, Brook could do with a bit of luck, his career is slipping away, he should have been having that kind of fight a year or so ago.

WBA - Malignaggi/Broner
WBC - Mayweather
WBO - Bradley/Marquez
IBF - Alexander

Which route is he going to go? He's not going to beat Mayweather, Bradley or Marquez. I doubt he beats Broner either and even if Malignaggi wins, Brook's a nobody in America so the fight would be difficult to sell for Golden Boy if they gave him a shot. That leaves Alexander, he's ranked highest with the IBF and his only other ranking is no 8 with the WBO. To be honest, his only chance of a world title fight is Alexander and if he's not going to take that then where does he go?

I think that if he had a world title fight lined up against Alexander and Khan said he was willing to fight Brook, Brook would pull out and fight Khan instead.

All the people who were disagreeing with me when I commented on Kell's high voice surely can't deny it after listening to this interview.

Brook was in fine fettle in Nottingham this evening at the show in Clifton. I don't think he is or has ducked any one, I get the feeling time is a ticking and his team need to get "something" soon.

I have feeling if would have stayed with his previous promoter he probably be WBO champ right about now.

It would be funny if one day we get an ifilm video of Brook as a hijacker of belts tho. Dressed up like that guy who nicked Amir Khan's pouch, holding all the belts and saying 'right, I ent giving these back until someone goes up tut bank and gets me one million quid.'

brook's won an IBF elim. he'll surely be looking to fight the khan-alexander winner.

if successful there's big fights out there, such as broner.
