Anyone been watching this years big brother ?
By all accounts there is a good looking irish girl on there clamming to be the late Darren Sutherland girl friend right up to when he took his life ?
I havent been watching it but my mum and sister love the show and they told me about this girl that was telling the story about going out with a famous irish boxer who took his own life, apparently she told the story about Darren and how she split up with him right before he hanged himself , from what my sister told me when she was asked by another house member if her dumping him was the cause of him killing himself she got the hump and walked off ...anyone watch it or see what she said ?

Ive stopped watching that shit to be honest. Wouldnt surprise me if it was his GF though.

She didnt say how long they had been split up before his death , and when pushed on if she was the cause of his death , she said "i hope not , but no ones been insensitive enough to actually come out and ask me that before " Impression i got was she had long split with him before his death and was just sort of name dropping .

I watched "Call Centre" a few nights ago and there was a 19 year bodybuilder type from Swansea who was a sorry state of affairs.

If he is representative of the youth of today, the future is in for a very hard time.

I once thought of bringing back the colosseum and the gladiators in place of things like Big Brother and the like but got shouted at by some vegetarian lesbian hippy saying it was barbaric and that seems to be the general consensus so reality tv looks like it's here to stay.

She's also 'famous' for being a darts walk on girl. They like them with big norks at the darts...

That's not fair, they are the youth of Swansea and not representative of the rest of uk! Swansea is a special place, I used to slap the likes of him for fun on Wind St doors!

So it wouldn't surprise me at all if poor Darren took his life (I say this with no flippancy whatsoever and in respect to the man and his family) over this bird. Cos it's a male weakness. If he was around now he'd probably Euro Champ with big things in his sights and an equally fit or fitter bird than that.

But this is all total hearsay.......

I watch virtually no TV. I live alone and I train alone (apart from when I do my classes 3 or 4 times a week)....but I do kinda like BB.

Incidentally how fit is the "new Davina"??

She shouldn't be mentioning Darrens name in my opinion. Let him rest in peace. Talking about his tragic death really does nobody any favours at this point. She will only get negative press for bringing him up as if she is trying to live off his name. I'm not saying she is but it could be misconstrued and do her no favours. Lets remember him for the good, not the sad end. He won a bronze medal for his country and nobody ever had a bad word to say about him as a person. He was a true gent of a man, a true gent. It was a big loss to Ireland and to boxing. He was a lovely guy by all accounts. RIP Darren.

I understand the points here, I don't watch it though so not sure of the context. In her position, I can't say I wouldnt ever refer to such a tragic event if personally involved. I guess the simple fix is to just not watch that complete shite.
