Dodson v Smith

I have to say I'm not hugely excited about this one but given that there is no thread on it I thought I'd start one.

What are everyone's thoughts on the winner? Both fighters look well past their best but I'd fancy Smith to come through either on points or by late stoppage. He's a very heavy favourite with the bookies also but has not convinced me recently.

Smith on points for my in a dour contest, I don't think I've ever seen Paul Smith fight and think he put in a good display.

He's a strange one to be sure; when he boxes someone the next level down he is devastating; when he boxes someone at his level he gets tangled up in a maul/brawl; I thought he'd moved down to middleweight after the Groves loss.

I think he was gonna move down to middle then the groves shot came up. With the quality at middle in the UK he'd have no chance there now, he's not big enough for super middle

Yes; he's between a rock and a hard place. He should have too much for Dodson; though he sorted out scouse superiority a while ago. I liked it when he posted here, he seemed sound but he did get the monk on a bit if anyone questioned him.
