What an amazing thing he has done bringing all these parties together, well done sky a great demonstration of how to empower your rivals. I really wonder if they have a clue what they are doing at times.
They were in a unique position where they could have made people bid for shows and they threw it away and now the only chance to watch anyone other then eddie hearns army is via allegedly.
Boxing is a mess why couldn't they have allowed other promoters what was the benefit of exclusivity?
I'm almost tempted to subscribe. Almost. As for sky I'm actually asking myself whether its worth it anymore. I've got Jeremy Kyle on itv most of the films are shite.... And towie is on itv too..

I don't know how you can't have allegedly at this points, as for Sky aside from the last PPV I couldn't remember the last bill that really interested me.

i wish they would step up the production as it all looks a bit "waynes world" like it's done in a basement and i never know what is on .
but other than that they do show some very big fights from the US ,just need a view more homegrown shows on at 8/9 o'clock rather than everything being shown at 2 am.

They should of made them bid for shows I agree and we would have got more quality so they dropped the ball there.I think they just wanted to use one person who they could trust especialy as they have cut the dates and Hearns model is an arena shows every 3 weeks with 3/4 live fights not leisure centre shows once a week.They are only working together because they have no choice, when they had the Sky money they were very happy making easier fights and not always the fights we wanted and that's one of the reasons for the cut in dates imo.If Hatton had any other viable option his fighter wouldn`t be on allegedly

That's the thing though innit, he cant really say anything as he'll get in trouble. It's a shame that we cant hear his personal thoughts on it though.

That's true but Hearn is putting on quite a few cards where the matches arent great either!
True some have been hit and miss and the London Olympia show in retospect was gash, but this was his first year as the sole promoter on Sky and he has been building his stable so I have given him the benefit of the doubt at times, but next season is a different story and I do expect a significant improvement on this seasons shows,if we get it then happy days. I personal thought most of the ffn shows by the end were quite shocking(even worse then the gash Olympia show) so 3 decent live fights every couple weeks is the way to go on Sky imo.

Is anyone else having any difficulty getting on the Allegedly Schedule site?,just not going on for me,im getting on the Home page but when i try to check the schedule its no going on,i think they have revamped it :??

It's almost gone full circle now hasn't it. BN were dealing exclusively with FW (obviously) and sky had dates for all the other major promoters (and some minor) before Eddie snaffled all the dates up. BN's stock will only rise after this announcement and it will put serious pressure on the Sky outfit to up their game. As fans it's a win win I reckon.

there are people on here that think Warren is not fit for burning and has been the scourge of British Boxing, this week he is good, maybe next week we'll organise a whip round
for a stained glass window of Frank and maybe a statue.

I blame Adam Smith who obviously thought it was cool to hump Fast Eddie's leg!
The tables are slowly turning, if Sky want to salvage anything the first thing they should do is get rid of that lightweight Smith before he completely screws it up.

It was a good announcement and if they deliver there promises then it`s good news.Only time will tell,hopefully the first batch of new shows featuring these Promoters are quality.The quality of the Price cards have been decent to be fair so more of the same really.

I think it was Adam Smith who decided on that. With him being head of boxing for sky he decides who to deal with and not to deal with.

You may well be correct and I'm sure I read that it was the Barney fellow who decided that boxing brought in 2% of the revenue and took up 10% of the time and brought 25% of the hassle to his table; he was used to dealing with formula 1 and premier league head honchos and was fed up getting drawn into petty stuff.

I think it was Barney i also cant remember his surname who used to deal with boxing but I think that was before there was a head of boxing and thus Adam Smith was in that position.

I thought Smith was a real boxing fan and enjoyed the sport and company of boxers etc; where he went to school is irrelevant, with him taking the time to write a book about his experiences in boxing and the people he has met I wouldn't have thought he'd have done anything to harm the sport. I do think that a monopoly of boxing dates hurts the sport and we have to support BN as a viable alternative.

Well I have a feeling that, that Barney fella hired a head of boxing as like you said he couldnt be bothered with the hassle of it! Saying that though, with Matchroom doing a lot of business with sky in regards to the darts, snooker, etc, maybe Barney was involved and told Adam to make the deal with matchroom! So you could be right.
