after having 8 months out of the ring Quigg first round was just a jab fest till the rust left and the adrenalin subsided.... then a punch perfect performance ... i know its asking a lot to ask if you think Quigg as a possible world champion .... as he has only really fought munroe and systematically took him apart like no other... but Quigg does excite me when he starts to find range ... i do think he has the tools to make his mark in the SBW...

Im still somewhat unsure of him. He's definietly done what he's needed to so far but I need to see him against even better opposition. That Salinas is it? He might give us a better idea of how good Quigg is.

absolute fair point you cant say for sure what a fighter is like until they do step up....... maybe mijares or terrazes next? ...think the frampton fight might happen when they both have titles to fight for...

...Hasegawa's looking for a dance parter... Ranked #6 (WBC) and #2 (WBO) he'd be a good scalp and looks like a pretty "done" fighter in all honesty. Maybe August is too soon and a fight in Japan isn't wanted but get the former champion over here for December maybe?

is donaire getting a rematch with rigondeux? if not then it would be one of the three then pass straight to rigondeaux ...

is donaire getting a rematch with rigondeux? if not then it would be one of the three then pass straight to rigondeaux ...

Ive heard that Donaire does want a rematch. Whether it happens is a totally different story though.

I think Rigondeaux holds the WBA super title and the WBO title and romero has the IBF title. Not sure who has the WBC title actually.

He is impressing me more by the minute, I'd still favor Frampton if they met next, and rigondeaux to beat the pair of them with ease, but I'm excited to see just how good Quigg can get in the next two or three years ! Great performance

Great performance by Quigg. He's heading in the right direction towards being world class. He's got the WBA interim title but it's time for him to really step up in his next few fights.

Its really annoying me Eddie saying his next foight could be for a World Title. The WBA are a joke Rigo is the genuine WBA belt holder end of and no way is Scott going to fight Rigo.

Nothing against Scott btw its great to have him back in the ring after so long looked the part last night (again) looking forward to seeing him out again soon.

I think he's decent, get him some Euro level fights first though before throwing him in at the deep end.

Quigg is fantastic, he seems very versatile and is well balanced and has good temprament; he doesn't rush or get scared; he seems to enjoy it and is mastering his trade. In 18 months he'll be fitting in well with the best at his weight and will earn good money; he is very very good.
