Would it have gone any different?

Simple topic you think of a fight where two fighters met, one was past his prime, one wasn't. We debate what we think would've happened if both men met prime for prime.

I'll start with Shane Mosley vs Saul Alvarez

and Oscar De La Hoya vs Julio Cesar Chavez.

In the case of Mosley vs Alvarez I feel like Alvarez's boxing skill would've always given Shane fits at times, especially at Shane's best at 154, but I think Shane would've had the greater pace and outworked Alvarez if he were in his prime. Maybe a 116-112 type decision in Shane's favor.

With Oscar De La Hoya vs Julio Cesar Chavez I believe De La Hoya still gives Chavez absolute hell to be honest. I think he outboxes him for long stretches in some of the earlier rounds and has a solid lead at the halfway point, but I feel like Chavez's great toughness and consistent aggression would cause Oscar to tire late while Chavez came on and took the last 3 rounds comfortably. I think enough of the earlier rounds would be close enough that I could see this one being a draw or split decision victory for either man. Prime for Prime, I don't see a stoppage in this matchup and it would be a handful for either man to say the least.

What about Toney vs Jones, if they met at a different time in their careers...let's say Cruiserweight in 2002. Would it have gone any different?
