Another common one is 'Well it lasted longer than I thought' a quote commonly used when David Haye fought Audley Harrison and again its a everyday saying in my bedroom, again from my wife.

The real McCoy

The story goes that the someone was going around pretending to be the boxer Kid McCoy to get free food and drink in bars, so when this was discovered people used to introduce the actual boxer as 'the Real McCoy'
