The Life Mask of John L. Sullivan

Here is a link to a photograph of a copy of a life mask of boxer and Heavyweight Champion
John L. Sullivan.
It was taken by sculptor R. Tait McKenzie .
This copy is at the Firestone Library at Princeton University,New Jersey.

The life mask was taken in 1902 when John L. Sullivan was 44 years old.

Anyone here ever seen any copies of John L. Sullivan's life mask for sale anywhere?
I think one would look really cool in my den next to my Ming vase.

I can't help but think every time I see the mask that he reminds me of some actor but I can't think who.
Good to know that with that plaster cast that John L. still had hair on top of his head at age 42 years anyway.

Wilford Brimley.

It's a shame how in such a short amount of time he went from "the pillar of fitness" to essentially Santa Claus. He looked far older than he was in his 30s.

That's not who I was thinking of,maybe the dude who played Uncle Fester on the original 1960's ADDAM'S FAMILY ?
,but I think it was another actor from the 1930's or 40's it reminds me of.
BTW Did you notice the curled tips of the mustache have broken off ?
I wonder if they were placed in plastic and can be re-glued ?
